At 1,154 metres, Cap Frontière opens onto spectacular views that remain hidden from the observation tower on Mont Gosford. Along the route, hikers can take in impressive views of Onion Hill, Boil Mountain and the surrounding ponds, with the Bigelow massif in the background. Cap Frontière can be combined with Mont Gosford for a more demanding hike, ideal for those looking to cover more distance. To extend the adventure, add a night of camping at Petit Gosford (1,100 m) and complete three summits over 1,000 metres. Dogs are permitted on leash. These summits are accessible through the Sentiers frontaliers network, and membership directly supports trail maintenance.
