Mont Victoria, along with Mont-Mégantic and Mont Saint-Joseph, is part of the Mont-Mégantic massif. It stands out for its abundant vegetation, where hardwood, mixed and coniferous forests grow in abundance. Between 900 and 1,105 metres in elevation, it is home to a rare boreal forest type, a fir forest with mountain wood sorrel, an uncommon ecosystem in Québec. This ancient forest, left intact due to its difficult access and limited commercial interest, is a remarkable natural treasure. Hikers looking for a challenge can combine the ascent of Mont Victoria with Mont Saint-Joseph and Mont-Mégantic for a more demanding, immersive experience in the heart of exceptional landscapes.
