Montagne de Franceville

The magnificent rocky ridge of Franceville puts on a spectacular show, especially in fall. To reach it, the trail follows the stream that gradually carved out the valley, offering close and refreshing contact with nature. Once you reach the pebble beach, you may feel the spray from one of its many waterfalls. This is a trail the whole family can enjoy. The “Porte du ciel” viewpoint lives up to its name, offering a breathtaking view of mont Pain de Sucre. Pic de l’aurore reveals the ridge of Mont Saint-Joseph and Mont-Mégantic. For the return, take piste de la Vallée, a trail shared with cyclists, or follow the trail along Ruisseau de la montagne.
