Rising to 1,175 metres, Pic Frontière is known as Panther Peak in the United States. Located in the Mont Gosford area, this summit offers an exceptional hiking experience in the Mégantic region. After passing Cap Frontière and following the border markers, hikers reach a spectacular panorama over a sea of mountains stretching toward Maine and New Hampshire. On a clear day, Mount Washington, at 1,917 metres, can be seen in the distance. Wildlife is abundant here. Accessible through the Sentiers frontaliers network, membership helps support trail maintenance. Dogs are permitted.
